Ute Thumm has been working as a coach and consultant for more than 30 years. Her focus is leadership, change and powerful collaboration. She works with a wide range of different sized companies across various industries: large corporations, SMEs as well as non-profit organizations.

Her perspective is international and multicultural. She has experience with more than 30 different nationalities and works both in German and in English. Ute was responsible for setting up and managing the "International Consulting" division of a well-known human resource consulting firm, focusing on the USA and Eastern Europe.

She works in association with experienced colleagues as well as an independent entrepreneur. She has many years of expertise in designing, steering and supporting global change initiatives and corporate culture development processes at employee, management and executive levels. Ute supports executives and their teams to further develop their hybrid and digital leadership scope, to shape communication and collaboration, and to clarify deadlocked conflict situations.

Ute is inquisitive and aims high. She pursues her goals consistently. She stands for courage, trust, reliability and sound relationships. Her passion is to inspire people and to accompany them on their way forward. Leadership, personality, role, attitude, personal impact and mindful inner alignment always go hand in hand with a look at "hard" issues such as strategy, structure, processes and goal orientation. She aspires to help leaders and managers in times of disruption, lack of clarity and uncertainty in unleashing their potential to grow as stable, confident and courageous role models.

Over the past years, her focus has shifted towards sparring, coaching and being a trusted advisor to top executives and senior management leaders.

The founders of May4th and Ute have been closely connected for more than 30 years, both professionally and personally. Collaborating within the May4th leadership team amounts to extracting the essence from mature joint experience.
